A devastating 4-1 loss at home to Fiorentina has intensified the pressure on Torino boss Gianni De Biasi. Torino President Urbano Cairo, speaking after the match whilst fans protested outside the stadium, was frank about his reaction to the loss and the poor form of late.
Urbano said: "Many expected De Biasi to get the sack if they failed to get a result against Fiorentina this afternoon, so the 4-1 hammering was the worst possible outcome.
"De Biasi is still our Coach, but I want to meet with him to find out what is going wrong. In the space of two weeks this Toro side has changed completely.
"We did well to draw with Milan, but in the last two weekends have been dreadful. I want to ask him what he meant when he said that only 70 per cent of the squad was behind him.
"We will meet soon, probably later tonight. How much does he risk the sack? First of all I need to talk to him to see if he has the ability to get out of this situation. I want to know what he really thinks."
