Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli was proud of his players after last night's elimination by Chelsea.

"The boys have made us all proud and their coach deserves congratulations for what he did," said Cobolli Gigli. "I feel sorry for (Pavel) Nedved, his exit has made it more difficult for us to catch them.

"From being 2-1 up, it's a pity to lose because I also believed.

"Now we concentrate on our remaining targets, with more awareness of having a team of real men."
