Hertha Berlin have warned any Premier League clubs they are wasting their time in making offers for Roman Hubnik as he is staying with the German outfit. The Czech Republic international defender has been linked with a move to Blackpool and Newcastle after helping Hertha to the top of Bundesliga 2.
But Hertha have no plans to allow the 26-year-old, who is under contract until 2014, to leave at the end of the season.
General manager Michael Preetz told Berliner Zeitung newspaper: "Roman Hubnik is a player of Hertha Berlin.
"He is a regular in our first team and he is contracted to the club.
"We have the ambition not to sell any first-team regular at the end of the season."
