Tottenham winger Gareth Bale is proving himself the fittest in the Premiership.
The Pro-Zone stats revealed Bale ran faster for longer than any other player at Wembley last week against Portsmouth.
And now Harry Redknapp is hoping his improved star can maintain that level of performance to help his team win the race for fourth place.
Redknapp, whose side host leaders Chelsea today, said: "I think he broke the world record for the ground covered at Wembley.
"On Pro-Zone it was amazing the ground he covered. I spoke to Portsmouth manager Avram Grant this week, who also had the stats and he couldn't believe it."
The Pro-Zone figures show in 120 minutes, Bale ran 1,011 metres at 24km/h or more - way above the high-intensity target for defenders of 617m.
And he was clocked on one run doing 33km/h.
