Nottingham Forest will take on Premier League sides Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion in pre-season friendlies this summer. Steve Cotterill's side are scheduled to play Villa at the City Ground on Saturday, August 4, and then West Brom the following Friday night on August 10 (7.45pm) in another home fixture.
The 2012/12 npower Championship season is due to start on August 18.
