Premiership clubs are queuing up to discuss a pre-contract with Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh.
The Morocco international comes off contract at the end of the season and can discuss terms with rival clubs from January 1.
Along with Arsenal and West Ham, the Daily Star Sunday says Fulham, Stoke, Blackburn Rovers, Wigan, Bolton and Hull are all expected to be in the race.
