Interest is growing in Newcastle United centre-forward Any Carroll ahead of the January market.
The Evening Chronicle says Carroll is being monitored by top flight clubs and United have already turned down a bid from Wolves for their homegrown striker.
The centre-forward struck twice for England U21 last night in their 6-3 victory over Macedonia.
