Premier League urged to change fine system for hard-up coaches

Premier League are being urged to change their fine system.

The Daily Mail says there is disquiet around Premier League clubs that coaches are fined the same sums for improper conduct as managers, who are on much higher wages.

The latest example is Everton boss David Moyes and assistant Steve Round both being ordered to pay £8,000 for their verbal attack on referee Martin Atkinson after Everton's draw at Manchester United.

Moyes has accepted the fine, which he will hardly notice when the club dock it from his £60,000-a-week salary. But Round, paid around £4,500 a week, is appealing for a lesser fine.
