Premier League trio Southampton, West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United have been handed a huge blow in their chase for Vicente Iborra.

Iborra has arguably been one of the best midfielders in La Liga over the past few years and as a result, the Saints, Baggies and Hammers had all expressed their interest in signing the Sevilla star.

However, it seems like the Premier League trio will all miss out on the signing of Iborra as Barcelona could make a swoop for the 27-year old.

Barca presidential candidate Josep Maria Bartomeu has vowed to land Iborra if he is re-elected with the Catalan giants in July and it seems unlikely that the midfielder will reject the advances of the Spanish giants in favour of a move to England.
