Premier League title between Chelsea and Man City - Southampton's Koeman

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has backed either Chelsea or Manchester City to win this season's Premier League title.

The Saints currently sit second on the table, four points off top spot, but Koeman is realistic in regards to his club's premiership hopes while tipping reigning champs City or current league leaders Chelsea to salute in 2014/15.

"I think it's a two-team race because still I believe that City and Chelsea are stronger over the whole season - not in one game, because I think we can beat them, but on the whole season I believe they are stronger than us," said the Dutchman.

"We know our situation, we know our ambition, but we live game by game and it's not important or necessary to look more forward."

So far this term, Southampton have beaten the likes of Newcastle United, Swansea City, Sunderland and Hull City in their seven league victories.
