Sweden national team had coach Erik Hamren has backed Zlatan Ibrahimovic to continue playing in a top league for many years to come.
The 34-year-old striker is set to leave French giants Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season which has sparked plenty of speculation that he could be finally on his way to the Premier League.
The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and even Arsenal have been linked but Ibrahimovic's subpar display in the Champions League quarter-finals against Manchester City suggested to many that perhaps he is not up to the challenge of paying in England's top flight.
However, Sweden boss Hamren has denied this claims by suggesting that the former AC Milan, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Juventus star can remain playing at the very top level for quite some time.
"If Zlatan is motivated mentally, then he can stay at the top for several more years," Hamren told Reuters in an interview at the headquarters of the Swedish FA in Stockholm.
"That's the big question for him and for many other players. They have to work hard to stay at that level, match after match, month after month, year after year.
"One of the things that impresses me most about Zlatan is that he always wants to get better, and that is why he has been so good for so long, improving every year, even though he's over 30."
Ibrahimovic has proved his age is no boundary as he has scored 32 goals in 27 appearances in Ligue 1 for the French champions for a total of 42 in 45 outings in all competitions this term.
