A number of Premier League players have heaped praise on the Miami Heat on Twitter following their NBA championship win on Thursday.
Lead by Finals MVP LeBron James, the Heat took out the 2012 NBA playoffs with a 4-1 series win over Oklahoma City Thunder to clinch their second title prompting some of the Premier League stars to congratulate them on the achievement.
Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany wrote: "Seeing Heat celebrations just makes me wanna get back to work already and kick off that new season. Patience though... Patience. #Champions," whilst Liverpool's Lucas Leiva posted: "Congratulations to @KingJames for the title last night !!! #LETSGOHEAT.""The Heat won I can see then + @KingJames took the #MVP !!
