Chris Hughton has notched up his first Premier League win as Norwich City manager with a 1-0 triumph over Arsenal at Carrow Road.
The former Tottenham defender managed to get one back on his old North London rivals as the Canaries produced a stellar performance to down the much more fancied Gunners.
Grant Holt scored the only goal of the match with a 20th minute when he hammered home from close range after Arsenal keeper Vito Mannone failed to hold onto Alexander Tettey's long range effort.
As expected, Arsenal bossed the possession statistics and also had double the amounts of shots on goal but Canaries gloveman John Ruddy was at the top of his game to keep a clean sheet in front of ecstatic home fans.
It took Hughton eight matches to chalk up his first top flight victory with the Norfolk club but it will surely be one that endears him to the supporters as questions form regarding Arsene Wenger's men and their title credentials.
The loss forced them down to ninth position on the table as Norwich were able to move up to 15th after seven matches without a win leading up to this evening.
