Rudy Gestede's hopes of playing in the Premier League this season have taken a hit after Blackburn Rovers reportedly turned down Watford's £5million offer for the striker.
Gestede has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, but the Lancashire Telegraph is reporting the Hornets are the only outfit to table a legitimate offer.
Norwich City are also believed to have made enquiries about the Benin international, but that is as far as their interest has taken them.
Gestede has continued to train with Blackburn in preparation for the upcoming Championship season, however, the 26-year-old was not included in Rovers' travelling squad for their pre-season camp in Portugal after picking up a knee injury.
