PREMIER LEAGUE: Man City draw again, Tottenham and Villa earn home wins and Blackburn triumph in battle of cellar dwellers.

Manchester City made it five successive draw as they were held at home by Burnley, but Aston Villa and Tottenham made no mistake at home to Bolton and Sunderland respectively. In a dreary first half Pompey deservedly took the lead though on-loan midfielder Jamie O'Hara, but Rovers turned the game around after the interval.

Substitute Jason Roberts levelled early in the second period before defender Ryan Nelsen headed home a set piece.

Roberts got his second of the game late on to secure the points at Ewood Park.

Burnley's threw away a two goal lead at Manchester City to trail 3-2, only for Clarets substitute Kevin McDonald to net a dramatic late leveller.

Question marks over Manchester City's defence continue as Burnley, who had not picked up a point on the road so far, raced into a two goal lead at Eastlands courtesy of a Graham Alexander penalty then Steven Fletcher.

Just before the break Shaun Wright-Phillips gave ragged City hope with a deflected shot.

Burnley's defence then showed its true colours as first Kolo Toure equalised then Craig Bellamy finished Wright-Phillips' low cross for his 100th league goal in English football.

But City failed to hold to their advantage and McDonald lashed home to earn the Clarets their first away point.

At White Hart Lane Tottenham claimed a fortunate three points against Sunderland who dominated for long periods, hit the woodwork but still came away on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline.

Spurs opener came from Robbie Keane but Harry Redknapp's team left the field to boos at half time such was the away side's dominance.

But the hosts secured the win with a Tom Huddlestone screamer via the underside of the bar.

Aston Villa had no difficulties in disposing of Bolton 5-1 at Villa Park.

Ashley Young opened the scoring early on and Villa's lead was deservedly doubled when Gabriel Agbonlahor coolly finished.

Bolton gave themselves hope just before the break as Johan Elmander tapped in after Gary Cahill's shot had rebounded back off a post.

John Carew restored Villa's two goal advantage before James Milner grabbed Villa's fourth following a scramble after his penalty had been saved.

The Wanderers misery was complete after Carlos Cuellar's fine flick header from Milner's pinpoint delivery.
