Premier League is just 'business as usual' for Crystal Palace's Jedinak

Mile Jedinak admits he never doubted himself as he prepared for Premier League football with Crystal Palace.

The 29-year old Australian international led the Eagles into England's top flight via the Championship playoff final against Watford earlier this year and although he was aware of stepping up a grade to England's top flight, he never felt he would be out of place.

"In the build-up to the start of the season you realise that you will be playing in the Premier League against top opposition," he said.

"But once the first game is over and you see you can mix it with the big boys it's business as usual.

"It's not really a matter of doubting yourself because you get to a certain point in your career where you know what you can do and what you can't do.

"I knew what I had around me in our team and even though we have not got the points on the board we have been performing to a level where we can only get better."

Palace currently sit bottom of the Premier League table with four points from 11 matches following the weekend's scoreless draw with sixth-placed Everton.
