Manchester City playmaker David Silva insists winning the Premier League would mean as much to him as the honours he has helped Spain achieve in recent years.
The Spanish midfielder has been a part of European Championship and World Cup wins since 2008 but suggests that taking the English Premiership with City would be just as special.
"It will be equally important to me, winning the Premier League," said Silva.
"After winning such an important title as the World Cup, to see the City supporters who have waited so long, winning the league would be just as important to me.
"It's amazing how people forget the bad things in life when something good happens, like with the World Cup in Spain."
