PREMIER LEAGUE: Fulham emphatically end Bolton's mini revival

Fulham have put pay to Bolton's chances of winning four Premier League matches in a row by saluting 3-0 at the Reebok Stadium this afternoon.

The Cottagers remained 10th on the table thanks to a first-half brace from star scorer Clint Dempsey and a maiden goal from February signing Mahamadou Diarra which saw the Trotters stay 16th after a three-game winning streak.<> Dempsey gave the visitors the lead right on the half-hour mark with a superbly struck free-kick from a central position which curled into Adam Bogdan's top left corner, 15 minutes before doubling the lead with a simple header from a beautiful Damien Duff cross from the right to make it 15 goals in the league this season for the American.

Martin Jol's Fulham were cutting Owen Coyle's men to ribbons and could have gone a third goal ahead when Duff spun his way out of trouble before producing a quality save from Bogdan just prior to the hour-mark a couple of minutes before Dempsey blasted his hat-trick attempt just wide of the mark.

Bogdan again denied a rampant Duff moments later but the imminent third goal did come for Fulham ten minutes from time when Diarra slid home John Arne Riise's cutback to make it a day to remember for the visiting side.

TRIBAL ASKS: With one or two quality signings in the summer, can Fulham challenge for a top six finish next season or are they too inconsistent? First of all, they would want to keep hold of Dempsey as he offers so much to this team?
