PREMIER LEAGUE : Emphatic QPR ease to win at Wolves

Wolves never recovered from conceding two early goals and eventually went down 3-0 at home to a rejuvenated QPR. The visitor's found themselves with a two goal cushion after just ten minutes.

New signing and skipper Joey Barton opened his account for the Premiership new-boys, quickly followed by a second from Alejandro Faurlin.

Shaun Wright-Phillips was impressive for the visitor's who stunned the Molineux crowd into booing their team for their inept showing and claimed a first victory at Wolves for 13 years.

A third goal deservedly arrived in added time from DJ Campbell and whilst Karl Henry did manage to hit the post for Wolves this was a dismal performance from the home team.

Referee: Anthony Taylor

Venue: Molineux

Attendance: 24,189

Wolves scorers: QPR scorers: Barton 8, Faurlin 10, Campbell 87

TRIBAL ASKS: The astute buys of Neil Warnock look to have turned the corner for QPR but counterpart Mick McCarthy looks set for a season of struggle.
