Swansea City moved into profit after enjoying a successful first season in the Premier League. The South Wales club also received £5m in compensation when Liverpool hired manager Brendan Rodgers, the club said on Monday.
Profit after taxation totalled £14.6m in the year to May 31, improving a loss of £8.3in their previous Championship promotion-winning season.
The rise into profit came despite a doubling in the club's wage bill.
