Premier League clubs to discuss VAR

Premier League clubs are to have another meeting where they will decide on the future of VAR in the league.

There is much talk about the need of video assisted referees, after some high profile mistakes from officials in league games.

Per Sky Sports, a Thursday meeting of Premier League shareholders will result in a vote where they decide if VAR is introduced next season.

Many professionals have railed against the lack of VAR, such as Charlie Austin from Southampton and his manager Mark Hughes.

Clubs had voted against adding VAR for this season at their April meeting. But it has since been used successfully at the World Cup in the summer.
