Skysports.com reports a number of English clubs are chasing FC Twente defender Ronnie Stam. The 25-year-old has established himself as one of the best defenders in Holland since arriving from NAC Breda in the summer of 2008.
Stam's representative Chiel Dekker has confirmed both the player and Twente will sit down at the end of the season and hold talks about the defender's future
Twente will be keen to keep hold of Stam if they make the UEFA Champions League next season, but could find it hard to reject any big offers for the player in the summer.
