Premier League broadcasting rights snapped up by Poland

Canal + Cyfrowy has acquired the Polish broadcast rights to the Premier League for the 2013/14 to 2015/16 seasons, reports SportsPro. The announcement from the Premier League is the latest in a series over the past week, as the league confirms its European broadcast partners for the next rights cycle which starts in August.

"We are extremely pleased Canal + Cyfrowy has again chosen to invest in our broadcast rights in Poland," said Premier League chief executive, Richard Scudamore.

"They are a long-term partner of the Premier League and we know they will continue to broadcast the competition to our fans in Poland in an exciting and innovative manner."

The package of rights, all 380 games each season, will be available via the digital satellite broadcaster's new nc+ platform.
