Premier League chiefs have blocked a takeover bid for Premier League club Southampton from notorious Chinese investor Gao Jinsheng.
Lander Sports Development, headed by Gao, had reportedly made a £200million bid for a stake in the Saints, but their approach was barred by the league.
Gao is facing serious corruption allegations in China and has also been a subject of independent investigations from Premier League.
According to The Sun, lawyers representing Lander are set to meet with Premier League officials on Thursday in an attempt to make a case for their employer.
