Wigan Athletic have held Tottenham to a goalless draw at DW Stadium today.
The Latics actually dominated large portions of the match but were unable to edge Spurs who held strong at times and were also unlucky not to score themselves.
Wigan beat Tottenham 1-0 at White Hart Lane in August and Roberto Martinez's men managed to again frustrate Harry Redknapp's outfit who have now failed to win in four league outings.
Wigan have saluted just once in their last five and remained on the bottom of the table but luckily for them, Wolves and West Ham United both lost, meaning they can still climb out of the drop zone if they can win next week.

Wigan enjoyed most of the possession with a positive beginning to the contest but neither side really had a clear cut chance in the opening 15 minutes.
Tottenham came closest prior to the 25-minute mark when Jermaine Jenas struck from outside the area to see Wigan keeper Ali Al-Habsi spill the ball where Jermain Defoe was there for the follow-up but the Omani did enough to thwart him.
Down the other end, Victor Moses almost produced a brilliant opener when he was found by Ben Watson before controlling outside the area and hitting his shot just over the crossbar as the home side again grabbed the ascendency.
It was a game of counter-attacks with both sides trying to hit their opponents at regular intervals before flattening right out as half-time approached.
The Latics could have had the opener early in the second half when Moses was again close to scoring but Spurs had Sebastien Bassong to thank as he made a timely block as Roberto Martinez's side continued to caused problems for the visitors.
Again Wigan were inches away, this time in the 55th minute when Tom Cleverley's bending effort was tipped over by Heurelho Gomes as Harry Redknapp hooked Jermain Defoe for Peter Crouch.
As the match progressed past the 70-minute mark, Spurs looked far more dangerous when Aaron Lennon replaced Rafael van der Vaart as Wigan's game style began to take its toll with some Latics players starting to look tired.
Tottenham kept coming as they searched for a winner but Wigan almost eeked out the only goal of the game in the 88th minute when substitute Conor Sammon was denied by a great Gomes save which forced the match to a goalless draw.
