Following a Chivas USA 2-1 loss to Columbus Crew, head coach Preki blames it on his team running out of gas. Speaking after the game in Columbus, Preki said, "They were the better team in the second half. In the first half we were better.

"We were disciplined. They had a moment or two but that's what the home team does normal. We slowed the pace down, made them chase a little but in the second half we ran out of gas. We don't want to make any excuses but we ran out of gas. It is what it is.

"We're not playing a league game for a while (July 11) so hopefully we'll change those things. They should be able to step in and do their job. They didn't do it."
