Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia has emphasised on team togetherness as United prepare to begin their preparations for next season.

The Red Devils will kick-off their pre-season with a week-long trip to China next month and Ecuador international Valencia has highlighted the importance of immediately creating a good feeling within the playing group in the wake of Jose Mourinho's arrival as manager.

"I enjoy going away with my teammates and also the younger kids who are in the process of moving up through the ranks to the first-team squad," Valencia told ManUtd.com.

"It's a great thing to experience as everyone strives to train hard and prepare to get in the best possible shape because the season is very long.

"Last year we had a lot of time together as we spent a total of three weeks in North America, and everyone got on really well."
