Italy coach Cesare Prandelli respects Zdenek Zeman's decision to freeze out AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi.

The midfielder has had his problems with the 4-3-3 maestro this season and was benched for the 1-0 loss at Chievo on Sunday.

"We need to respect the decisions of the Coach," the Azzurri tactician told Rai Sport on Monday afternoon.

"However, I'm convinced that by working hard, Daniele will be able to get Zeman to change his mind."
