Prandelli ready to sign new Fiorentina contract

Cesare Prandelli has declared he wants to stay with Fiorentina.

The Viola coach said before victory over Napoli that he hopes to sign a new long-term deal with the club.

“I would just like to make a simple comment,” said Prandelli.

“And I feel kind of shy to make this sort of claim because it is not in my style to do so. I have done nothing similar in the past five years at Fiorentina. I am here and I am ready to sit down with the board and discuss a contract renewal.

“I am ready to renew my contract by five years if needed.”
