Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli was proud of his players after their Coppa Italia defeat to Inter Milan.

The Viola lost the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final 1-0, handing Diego Milito the winning goal with a Cesare Natali howler.

"We played a good game and allowed Inter what was to be expected on their own turf," Prandelli told RAI.

"Perhaps we could've been sharper in front of goal. It is not easy to play in three competitions, especially once it reaches this stage of the season.

"We'll try to take it one game at a time. At least we can proudly say that we are still challenging on three fronts."

January signing Mario Bolatti played 90 minutes, while Adem Ljajic came on for the final stages.

"It was a good debut."
