Prandelli names his 30-man Italy World Cup squad

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has named his 30-player provisional World Cup squad.

Prandelli will whittle the list down to the final 23 for the tournament in Brazil by June 6.

Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi makes the squad, despite his injury problems, as does Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini following his controversial elbowing incident against AS Roma.
