Italy coach Cesare Prandelli is willing to cut Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli some slack.

But he also warns that Balotelli needs to "grow up".

"I have infinite patience with Balotelli, as it doesn't take much to have a great player and a very sensitive person," Prandelli told Rai Sport.

"Lads like him should be understood, but at the same time they have to grow up too."
