Italy coach Cesare Prandelli enjoys the challenge of managing Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.
The Italy coach dropped the hitman twice from this squad in the run-up to the Euros because of his disciplinary record at City.
And he said: "I have coached Adriano, Adrian Mutu, Antonio Cassano and Balotelli.
"They are difficult to manage but it's more fascinating.
"They are more faithful than those players who think they are a champion when they aren't.
"They are players that have quality and make you win. Mario has enormous potential."
