Italy boss Cesare Prandelli has again spoken of his desire to work with Manchester City crock Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli made his senior Italy debut with Prandelli, but was then struck down by a knee injury that will keep him out for at least another month.

"We await Mario with open arms and all want to go on this journey together," said the Coach on Quelli Che Il Calcio.

"We hope to welcome him back soon in a very relaxed manner. Mario is extremely motivated."

The former Inter hitman has had a series of run-ins with the media and his teammates, but hopes to calm down as time goes on.

"We are waiting for him. He is a 20-year-old kid who at times uses an auto-defence mechanism that is too aggressive."
