Cesare Prandelli feels Claudio Ranieri's arrival at Inter Milan will be positive.
The Azzurri Coach was in the stands for Saturday night's 0-0 draw between Napoli and Fiorentina.
"It was a wonderful Viola performance," he said. "Cerci is doing very well and still has to find consistency. Whether he gets called up to the Nazionale also depends on what system we use."
There was a change of management in Serie A this week with Ranieri replacing Gian Piero Gasperini at Inter.
"It's a shame that Gasperini was dismissed, but this is football. I'm happy to have Ranieri back and I'm sure he will make an impact on Inter, just as he always has done in his career.
"I am also happy to see Giampaolo Pazzini returned to scoring goals. It is a good sign."
