Sampdoria striker Nicola Pozzi is keen for his side to kick off their Europa League campaign with a win over PSV Eindhoven tonight.
Samp, who lie third on the Serie A table after two games, meet the Dutch outfit, who top the Eredivisie, at Philips Stadion and a victory would be the perfect way to kick off proceedings according to Pozzi.
"The objective is get through the group, and to do that, it is always best to start off winning because otherwise when you slip behind it is always harder," he said.
"PSV are one of the strongest teams currently in the Eredivisie and I think that it will be very attractive. We will try to take advantage of any opportunities we have."
