Sunderland boss Gus Poyet aims to work the loan market this month.

But he says Sunderland are just one of a raft of clubs looking for temporary help.

"We've got one Premier League loan still," said Poyet. "I think sometimes it's the easiest one to do, but the problem is the competition.

"Normally, if there's one, everyone wants him.

"This transfer market is difficult this time.

"I've found it more relaxed [than 12 months ago], but difficult."
