Sunderland boss Gus Poyet has questioned the fighting spirit of his players.
Poyet was upset with their defeat to Norwich City.
Asked if his players showed they were fighting as if their Barclays Premier League future depended on the result, he said: "I think that is a real question you have to ask them. I don't know the answer to that.
"We didn't look like it as a team. We didn't look like we were really fighting for our lives in the first 30 minutes. Norwich were brave."
