Poyet must wait another week at Sunderland

Gus Poyet faces a week's wait to learn if he has landed the Sunderland job.

The Daily Star says the former Brighton manager wants to succeed the sacked Paolo Di Canio, but caretaker boss Kevin Ball is in charge for Sunday's Liverpool game and could still be in the hot seat when Manchester United visit next weekend.
