Tottenham assistant boss Gus Poyet lost his rag with several players after Sunday's 4-1 home humiliation to Newcastle United, it has been revealed.

The Daily Mail says Poyet lost his temper with the under-achievers at the end of Sunday's game and was involved in heated arguments with some of the players in the dressing room.

Poyet's criticism came after Juande Ramos admitted that Spurs were lacking motivation and warned his under-achievers that he is prepared to sell them in the summer.
