New Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet has set a goal of winning promotion to the Championship within 18 months.
The former Chelsea and Tottenham striker signed a one-and-a-half-year contract to lead the Seagulls, replacing Russell Slade, and he has immediately set goals for the East Sussex club.
"I'm not worried at all because everything I have done in my career as a football player and assistant manager has been about winning football games and being successful so this is another option and another challenge for me to take the club where everybody here in Brighton wants to be and that is the Championship in the short-term," he told BBC Sussex.
"I will try as hard as possible to get in there as soon as possible but being realistic so I think that time, 18 months, is quite good and I think that it is possible."
