Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is happy to the reaction of his open letter to fans.
Poyet is relieved that last week's open letter calling for the backing of the club's supporters was well received, despite the subsequent goalless draw at home to West Brom.
"I didn't know what the consequences of the letter would be, but I think the performance last Saturday and the way we approached the game meant the fans saw something," he said.
"I could write 25 letters a week, but if you are rubbish on Saturday it doesn't matter. All that counts is Saturday at 3 o'clock."
