Gus Poyet has agreed a deal to succeed Paolo Di Canio as manager at Sunderland.
The Uruguayan has reportedly settled on a three-year deal with the Black Cats after being chosen to step into the Stadium of Light hot seat after a two-week selection process.
Former Chelsea star Poyet, who was sacked by Brighton & Hove Albion in June, has been tasked with keeping Sunderland in the Premier League this season after a shocking start to the 2013/14 campaign.
