The agent of Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen says his client will not be leaving the club this summer.
The 31-year old Denmark international failed to make an impact at Anfield this season after joining from Juventus at the beginning of the campaign and it has emerged that he could be on his way out in this transfer window.
But his representative, Jorn Bonnesen, has made it clear that Liverpool have not yet put him up for sale indicating a stay on Merseyside is highly likely.
"It could be that Christian is in the pool of players who are up for sale, but we have not heard anything about that," he told Danish newspaper BT.
"There has been no contact with Liverpool, and we stick to the contract.
"We will not consider anything before we have heard from Liverpool that they don't want to keep Christian.
"We will remain loyal to Liverpool."
