Potential line-ups for A-League Grand Final
tribalfootball.com has had a look at the squads for Saturday night’s A-League Grand Final between Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC and has come up with likely line-ups for the clash.
The reigning champions will almost certainly welcome back star striker Archie Thompson into the starting eleven whilst it looks like veteran midfielder Tom Pondeljak will be available after a hamstring scare.
In the Sydney camp, veteran striker John Aloisi will miss and is expected to be replaced by teenager Chris Payne whilst right-back Shannon Cole has almost fully recovered from his hamstring and is every chance to retain his position that has been filled by Seb Ryall in the past two matches.
Apart from that, the line-ups seem fairly balanced and I have tried to forecast how they will look come game time.
