Manchester United's current third-choice goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone, is seeking a loan move away from Old Trafford.
The Daily Mail is reporting Johnstone is hoping to secure a loan move elsewhere if he is to receive limited first team action this season.
The news further compounds United's goalkeeping woes, with current no.1 David De Gea also agitating for a move away from the Red Devils following heavy interest from Real Madrid.
Johnstone spent the second half last season on loan at Preston North End, where he played a key role in their promotion to the Championship.
There are reportedly a number of Championships clubs interested in Johnstone's services, while United are believed to be determined to retain the 22-year-old.
