Potential Aberdeen move for Monchengladbach's Leckie rubbished by agent

Borussia Monchengladbach's Mathew Leckie will not be moving to Scottish club Aberdeen says his agent.

The 20-year old Australian striker was being linked with a January shift to Pittodrie Stadium with Dons boss Craig Brown believed to be showing plenty of interest but the report in the Evening Express has been slammed by John Grimaud.

Grimaud insisted that Leckie would not be heading to Aberdeen as he is performing well with the Monchengladbach reserves with more first team opportunities looming.

"Mathew is doing very well," he said, indicating there will be no shift to Scotland.

The rumour may have came about after Leckie scored twice for Monchengladbach against the Dons in a pre-season friendly.
