Ange Postecoglou was delighted for his Brisbane Roar players after they booked a place in the 2011/12 A-League Grand Final on the weekend.
The reigning champions built on their 2-0 home win in the two-legged major semi-final with Central Coast Mariners by winning 3-2 at Bluetongue Stadium on Sunday.
Goals from Thomas Broich, Mitch Nichols and Henrique did the job for the Roar as Patrick Zwaanswijk and Adam Kwasnik netted for last season's runners-up who lost 5-2 on aggregate.
Brisbane now await the winner of this weekend's preliminary final, which will be played between the Mariners and Perth Glory, but head coach Postecoglou is already gushing with pride for his group.
"They've been absolutely magnificent.
"We've had a really tough week and to come here, win the game, score three goals and not even think about sitting back at any stage.
"It's easy for me to have that philosophy, but I'm not out there running around and having to do that, I just think the players were magnificent.""I've never been prouder of a group of players than I am right now," Postecoglou said.
