A toothless Portugal outfit have been held goalless by world number 117 Cape Verde Islands.

Portugal were at full-strength and were led by Cristiano Ronaldo but they could not come up with a goal against the African minnows.

Carlos Queiroz was left shaking his head after full-time as the likes of Nani, Deco, Miguel Veloso, Liedson and Ronaldo could not hit the target in a far less than perfect preparation for next month's world Cup.
