Portugal have tuned up nicely for their World Cup opener by defeating Mozambique 3-0 in Johannesburg.
Portugal: 3 (Danny 52', Hugo Almeida 75', 83') Mozambique: 0
Venue: Bidvest Stadium - Johannesburg, South Africa Crowd: 28,000
The Portuguese shrugged off the loss of winger Nani for the entire tournament by recording a comfortable victory and morale-booster that they needed ahead of Tuesday's clash with the Ivory Coast.
Danny hit the target seven minutes after half-time before Hugo Almeida netted a late double to ensure Portugal took a win after having 24 shots on goal.
